More Affordable

The main purpose of this "Discount Trial Period" is to offer a short series of services to families that are more affordable than my regular-priced services for newborn care. This discount is not applicable to birth doula services.

Short-Term

This is a short-term "trial period" that is meant to be of help to parents while also giving a feel of what it would be like to have the help they need. After this, parents can choose to purchase regular-priced services if they wish, or could also choose to be done.

One-Time

This is a one-time offer. This "Discount Trial Period" offers either:

Four days of daytime service
Six days of nighttime service

Five days of a mix of daytime and nighttime services

Whether it is daytime, nighttime, or a mixture is up to you. A schedule that works for us and the family will also be worked out just as it would be for a regular-priced service.

Daytime

Under this "Discounted Trial Period":

The cost of daytime care is:
- $28/hour for a singleton
- $32/hour for multiples
If not mixed with nighttime care, the maximum number of days that can be requested by family is four days
When a combination of daytime and nighttime care is requested, a maximum amount of five days of services can be requested by the family
To receive daytime services, a minimum of five hours needs to be requested for each day

Nighttime/Overnight

Under this "Discounted Trial Period":

The cost of nighttime care is:
- $32/hour for a singleton
- $36/hour for multiples
If not mixed with daytime care, the maximum number of nights that can be requested by family is six nights
To receive nighttime services, a minimum of eight hours needs to be requested for each day

Care for Baby and Mother

Under this "Discounted Trial Period":

Care can be requested for both the baby and mother during the daytime and afternoon (a minimum of five hours must be requested)
The maximum amount of days/afternoons that can be requested under this discount trial period is four days and/or afternoons
Care requested for the mother can be discussed in detail
The baseline cost for this care is:
- $34/hour
Depending on what is requested and agreed upon, the cost can increase to a maximum of:
- $40/hour

Terms of Services Continued

Cancellation and Refund Policies

Cancellation Fee: If you purchase this offer and wish to cancel, there may be a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is enacted three days (72 hours after) after the purchase was made.
- If you cancel within 72 hours, then a cancellation fee will not be enacted and no fee needs to be paid by the family
- The closer the day of service gets, the higher the cancellation fee. Up to 60% of the cost of this offer can be paid by the family to the independent contractor (us) depending on when services are cancelled
To Cancel: Cancellations will be discussed by both parties and will ideally be made within two weeks of purchase.
- Cancellations are still possible beyond the two-week period, but a refund of services not yet rendered will likely not be issued (if the cancellation comes from the family's side) depend on the circumstance
- Cancellations are NOT possible six days (144 hours) before the service is set to begin
Refunds: For services not yet rendered by the independent contractor (us), refunds may be issued for cancellations within two weeks of purchase
- A refund will NOT be given for services already completed by the independent contractor (us)
- The family MUST pay for completed services (meaning hours that have been worked by the independent contractor must be reimbursed as the agreed upon amount)
