More Affordable
The main purpose of this "Discount Trial Period" is to offer a short series of services to families that are more affordable than my regular-priced services for newborn care. This discount is not applicable to birth doula services.

Short-Term
This is a short-term "trial period" that is meant to be of help to parents while also giving a feel of what it would be like to have the help they need. After this, parents can choose to purchase regular-priced services if they wish, or could also choose to be done.

One-Time
This is a one-time offer. This "Discount Trial Period" offers either:

Two days of daytime service

Two days of nighttime service
OR​

Two days of a mix of daytime and nighttime services
Whether it is daytime, nighttime, or a mixture is up to you. A schedule that works for us and the family will also be worked out just as it would be for a regular-priced service.​

Daytime
Under this "Discounted Trial Period":

The cost of daytime care is:

$38/hour for a singleton

$45/hour for multiples

The maximum number of days that can be requested by family is two days
-
To receive daytime services, a minimum of five hours needs to be requested for each day
Nighttime/Overnight
Under this "Discounted Trial Period":

The cost of nighttime care is:

$42/hour for a singleton
-
$50/hour for multiples
-

The maximum number of nights that can be requested by family is two nights
-
To receive nighttime services, a minimum of eight hours needs to be requested for each day
Care for Baby and Mother
Under this "Discounted Trial Period":

Care can be requested for both the baby and mother during the daytime and afternoon (a minimum of six hours must be requested)

The maximum amount of days/afternoons that can be requested under this discount trial period is two days and/or afternoons

Care requested for the mother can be discussed in detail

The baseline cost for this care is:

Cancellation and Refund Policies

​Cancellation Fee: If you purchase this offer and wish to cancel, there will be a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is enacted 48 hours after the purchase was made.

If you cancel within 48 hours, then a cancellation fee will not be enacted and no fee needs to be paid by the family

To Cancel: Cancellations will be discussed by both parties and will ideally be made within two weeks of purchase.

Cancellations are still possible beyond the two-week period, but a refund of any deposits given will not be returned (if the cancellation comes from the family's side)

Cancellations are NOT possible one week before the service is set to begin
-

Refunds: Refunds of a deposit will be returned within 48 hours of cancelling, but not after the 48 hour mark.

A refund will NOT be given for services already completed by the independent contractor (us)
-
The family MUST pay for completed services (meaning hours that have been worked by the independent contractor must be reimbursed as the agreed upon amount)
